Postgraduate studies Nowadays I’m really considering taking a Master in scriptwriting. The major reason to do that it’s because I would love to work writing scripts for television or movies, that’s one of my biggest dreams and to be able to do it I have to improve myself. I think I’ll have subjects which encourage my imagination and give me tips to manage the different types of scripts such as sitcoms, series, soap operas, etc. Personally I rather prefer work in a serie for television or a streaming network, but I wouldn’t mind working in a soap opera, I thnk it’s a very challenging type of writing and I hope I can do it perfectly some time, you have to know it all to do it good. Here in Chile the movies’ industry it’s very small and you don’t have many places to take a postgraduate besides ICEI or UC, so I think I would study somewhere else. My future job (I hope) I would love to be a free-lance scriptwriter, I really love to write and be independent so that's basically my dream job. Since far I was a kind I’ve always love stories, and I’ve keep practicing how to tell they, so now that I had studied how to do it I feel I can do it in a more professional way. I imagine getting up around nine o’clock everyday, take a nice breakfast and start to write, without rush and people around me. Or maybe I would write at night, just before going to bed, some people says that's the best time for writing, I don't know, but if I become a free-lance I could try it! I would like to travel a lot, and because I can write from everywhere, that wouldn’t be a problem as long as I could accomplish the dead-lines. It’s the end of the world (as we know it) I really try not to think about the world’s end, it makes me very sad and anxious, but it’s very difficult because nowadays everybody is talking about it!   Maybe is because recently a survey by the ONU says that all the primal materials will be finish in 2030, and the media translate this like it means the end, but I think this will not be the end, on the contrary I think this means a new beginning of a different and sadder world, but at least not the end. I’m convinced that humankind will always remain, not like the way we know it but in a different form, It’s likely that the most privileged humans will be transform into robots and they will live in Mars or another planet, I don’t know haha. Super-heroes Like a big part of I’m generation I grew up with super-heroes’ movies. I remember when I watched the first Spider-man , I had five years old and went to the movies with my father, I couldn’t believe it, it was shocking and fantastic. I became fan right away. I think it was because the movie told me I could be just like him or maybe I believed some cliché like: “you don’t need powers to be a super-hero, you just have to be yourself”. Anyway since there Spider-man became my favorite, and I’m still convince that the original trilogy are the best Spider-man’s movies, because they are very loyal to the comics and they touched me when I was a child so I remember them with nostalgia.
